Today, Wednesday, December 23rd is a half day. Classes will occur up to 12:45 with specifics available with your child's teacher. Encore Classes will occur during the following times:

10am - Grades K-2 (1 is live; K & 2 will receive remote assignments)

11am - Grades 6-8 (7 is live; 6 & 8 will receive remote assignments)

12pm - Grades 3-5 (4 is live; 3 & 5 will receive remote assignments)

Self-Contained Classes should consult with their teacher.

School will be closed until January 3rd. Classes resume virtually on January 4. From that point, the school building will be open Mondays,  Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Contact information for the office staff is available above.

We hope that you are able to celebrate the holidays and break with your family using caution due to the pandemic. We are also hopeful for a coming new year. May you be safe with the people you love most this season.

Progress Reports should be available on Infinite Campus today. 

Please sign into the STUDENT PORTAL in order to get your child's progress reports. That is the easiest and most simple way to do so.

Schedule Update Due to Winter Storm

Good morning Cordero Community!

To clarify the Superintendent's message from yesterday. Today will be a full Wednesday schedule which is the same one as we did last Wednesday. On Thursday, December 17, we will have a half day. Please note that teachers will post assignments on Google Classroom for the half day in case of power outage. During this winter storm, please be safe and use wisdom. 

Encore classes will follow this schedule today and tomorrow:

Classes will occur up to 12:45 with specifics available with your child's teacher. Encore Classes will occur during the following times today (12/16) and tomorrow (12/17):

10am - Grades K-2 (K is live this week; 1 & 2 will receive remote assignments)

11am - Grades 6-8 (6 is live this week; 7 & 8 will receive remote assignments)

12pm - Grades 3-5 (3 is live this week; 4 & 5 will receive remote assignments)

Students in self-contained classes should check with their teacher for live days/times. 

Today lunch will happen at 12:45 until 1:30. Tomorrow, December 17, all classes will end at 12:45

Today at 1:30, teachers will be available for support. This is a time they will invite students to receive extra support and also be open for students to come in for questions and help. This period ends at 2:10 and continues every Wednesday until there is a change on the district level.

Good afternoon!

Tomorrow we begin a different schedule for Wednesday. The schedule is the same as we did on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.

For tomorrow, teachers will provide a link for students so they can attend. As we progress through this time, teachers will indicate the work they will do for the 1:30 period on their Google Classroom. 

PTA Announcements

Join us Monday, December 7 at 6pm on Zoom for a virtual PTA meeting (LINK). Guests Principal Stanton and Assistant Principal Cabrera will join us to answer questions from parents and share updates from the district.

Submit your questions for Principal Stanton via the LINK by Monday, December 7. You may also participate on Facebook by posting questions directly to the event page. Meeting agenda will be posted on our website the day before the general meeting. We hope you will join us!

The PTA holiday craft fair returns on December 9, from 4-7pm. Sell your homemade gift ideas at the Hamilton Park Farmer's Market. Open to Cordero families, no food items please. Sponsored by the PTA and Hamilton Park Neighborhood Association. Register by emailing healthy@ps37pta.org.
