Teacher Community Builders and Meet & Greets

Your child's teachers are planning some lovely events to help build community while still in remote learning. Please check in with your child's teacher to see what they've got planned.

Another way to build community is to join the PS 37 PTA!

Renew your PTA membership or join as a new member! Only $5/person for the entire school year; kids are always free. Membership is open to all. As a PTA member, you can vote on budgetary matters. Not required to be a member to attend meetings. Fund is available for those unable to pay for membership. Email info@ps37pta.org for questions about the membership fund.

Join us Tuesday October 13th at 7pm for a virtual general PTA meeting. Do you have questions about the district's plan for hybrid learning, facilities updates and more? Guest speaker Alexander Hamilton, Jersey City Board of Education member and Cordero parent, will be on hand to answer your questions and provide updates from the district. Submit your questions for Trustee Hamilton VIA THIS LINK. General Meeting Zoom link will be posted to the PTA Facebook event page on the day of the meeting.

Wednesday, October 14 from 6-9pm in Hamilton Park, Cordero's PTA STEAM Committee invites you to a socially distant Family Astro Night as we explore "Mars at Opposition", a moment when Earth and Mars are closest in orbital proximity to one another. View Mars at its biggest and brightest, and ready yourselves to take the shortest route to this red neighboring planet. Mandatory: come equipped with your astro mask and your six feet protective exclusion zone! (Extra masks and hand sanitizers will be available) Contact steam@ps37pta.org to volunteer.
